We also provide nitrous oxide sedation at our practice. Nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, is a gas that you inhale during your treatment to enhance your relaxation. Simply breathe in through the nose mask that we provide. Nitrous oxide is a mild yet effective form of sedation that will help you feel calmer. Some patients even experience a euphoric or floating sensation. The effects of nitrous oxide will wear off within just a few minutes after we remove your nose mask, and you will be able to safely and legally drive yourself home after your appointment.
